Building a pathway to a future with possibilities

All children can and should have the opportunity to learn

Data shown by UNESCO stated that there is one in every five children out of school in the world. Lack of education can have major effects on children’s personality and social development. In poor regions and countries where they do not have sufficient resources, lack of education is inarguably the root cause for the cycle of poverty. We want to become the driving force for children to pursue their dreams by giving every child the opportunity to learn.

For the first time, we stepped foot in the education sector, partnered with Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) and donated $40,000 USD for their educational projects. The donation was used in technological curriculum development to engage more young people with the wonder of technology, thereby creating pathways to possible future careers. Other than education, we also provided nutrition and medical assistance to vulnerable children in Cambodia. In the future, CCF expects to further expand their projects to supporting children going to college.

Annual STEM event, International Women’s Day 2020

To celebrate International Women’s Day 2020, we co-hosted CCF’s annual STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) event at Neeson Cripps Academy on March 8, invited families, local charities, NGOs and media partners to witness outstanding projects presented by students. We wanted to promote the benefits of STEM education and cultivate creativity in our students, but most importantly - to support girls’ and women’s right to education.

Our Partner, Cambodian Children’s Fund

Cambodian Children’s Fund (CCF) is the largest non-profit organization in the field of childcare & education in Cambodia. The organization has received 11 consecutive 4-star ratings from Charity Navigator from 2008-2018 for its high transparency in operation and administration.

Founded by Scott Neeson in the capital of Cambodia, Phnom Penh, in 2004, CCF specializes in providing a variety of healthcare and education services to children who are living in poverty or have been maltreated. Since its establishment, CCF has provided care to more than 2,000 vulnerable children; it has also expanded its provision of services to include community services, healthcare, childcare, and vocational training.

Apart from children’s education, CCF works with local government in establishing child protection units. Furthermore, CCF partners with World Housing, a non-profit organization to provide better living environments for families in poverty.
